Lawrenceville Kennel Club, Inc., in conjunction with the American Kennel Club’s Responsible Dog Owner’s Day will host the following:
Responsible Dog Owner’s Day in Gwinnett County, Georgia
Date and Time: September 6, 2008 – 10:00 AM till 1:00 PM
Place: Lawrenceville Kennel Club Building, 2156 Oakland Industrial Ct., Lawrenceville, Ga. 30044 (just off of Sugarloaf Parkway and Old Norcross Rd).
Events Summary:
Meet the Breed Booth: Information on choosing the right dog for you and your family. A variety of breeds and their owners will be available for you to meet and ask questions of the owners.
Obedience Demonstrations: Basic Obedience demonstrations and a demonstration of Rally Obedience.
Reading with Dogs and Therapy Dogs: Come and read to the dogs. Meet the dogs that go into schools for a reading with dogs program. Meet dogs that do Therapy visiting.
Kids and Dog Safety: Info on the AKC Safety Around Dogs program for kids.
Awards presentation to the winners of the poster contest for Responsible Dog Owner’s Day.
